Applying to college: Tips for Junior Spring

Today I am thrilled to be able to share an interview that I recorded a few weeks ago with the Milton Scene community, because I know a lot of people are struggling with helping their junior in high school navigate the college process.

A few weeks ago, I grabbed one of my best friends in the world – the fabulous college counselor Meg Finegan and got her to sit down with me on Facebook Live and had her put on her college counselor hat for a minute. She and I really dug in and she gave me her best tips for navigating the college process during junior spring.

And I have to just say – if you have a high schooler in your house right now? Especially if you have a junior? This video is worth 36 minutes of your time.

Promise.

Was that helpful?

Hi, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Jess McDaniel, and I grew up here in Milton and today I own a local photography business and live right here in town.

I’d love it if you’d come join my Boston Families Together group to watch more interviews like this one. I do interviews every other Wednesday in the group with local experts who inspire me and who address “pain points” for families. Each interview I do is hosted in the group so you can watch them in your own time. Of course I also do raffles and fun photoshoot giveaways in the group, as well.
