Volunteers needed to place flags on Veterans’ graves at Milton Cemetery

Saturday, May 8, 2021, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon (Rain Date: May 15th)

We are looking for volunteers to assist us with honoring our Fallen for Memorial Day. We will be placing flags on Veterans graves across Milton Cemetery. We will ask that volunteers register and let us know when you will be coming.

We have 1800+ graves to flag and High School students will be given volunteer service credits towards graduation for helping honor our Veterans.

Kevin Cook, Milton Director of Veterans Services, will be there to provide flags, maps and directions on proper placement of the flags. COVID compliance (masks) will be required.

Interested volunteers should send an email with the time you’d like to come and your time will be confirmed. We will meet at the cemetery office for flags and info.
