MPL Walking Club to take place March 2, 16, 30

The MPL Walking Club will meet at 12 noon in the parking lot on Thursdays, 3/2, 3/16 and 3/30.  Come join others for exercise and conversation, and this is a great way to meet new people!  Please register for each specific meeting in advance at our website.  And our continuing program called the Celebrity Book Club will be held as a hybrid event on Thursday, 3/2, at 7:00 p.m. in the Keys Community Room.  Library staff members Sally Lawler and Sara Truog will lead you in a fun, relaxed discussion of books recommended by popular celebrities. This month we are reading Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell, which was recommended by Camilla Parker Bowles.  Sign up in advance to attend at our website, and you may call the Reference Dept. to place a hold on the book.  The Library Knitting Group will meet this month on Thursday, 3/2, at 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, 3/18, at 10:00 a.m., both held in the lower level Conference Room.  You may just drop by and enjoy sharing your fabric project (knitting, crocheting, or more) with other like-minded crafters to gain tips and tricks and socialize in the same time!  If you would like to start receiving Email reminders for this fun program, send a message to [email protected] and Jean will make sure you get on the organizer’s list. Use this link for our website: www.miltonlibrary.org  All of these events are kindly supported by the Friends of the Milton Public Library and are free and open to everyone.  We hope to see you for an enjoyable program in March!
