The “Milton Grows” initiative continues this month with “Backyard Chickens 101” scheduled for Saturday, 4/8, at 10 a.m.

This informative talk will teach you about how to start your own chicken coop, as you will learn the basics, adventures, town guidelines, joys and pitfalls of raising chickens in your yard.  The speaker will be chicken owner Debbie Alsebai.

This program is kindly sponsored by the Friends of the Milton Public Library and is free and open to everyone.  Most are held in the lower level Keys Community Room, unless otherwise specified here.

For questions, email [email protected] or call the Reference Dept. at (617) 898-4964.

We hope you will come visit the Milton Public Library this month to enjoy an event!  The Milton Public Library is located at 476 Canton Avenue.
