Milton Select Board’s Youth Task Force is holding a community meeting about expanded opportunities and safe places for social gatherings of teenagers aged 11-18.

Dear Community Leaders, Parents, and Members of Our Community,

We are excited to invite you to an essential community gathering that aims to shape the future of our youth positively.

Meeting Purpose: The Milton Youth Task Force is convening a special meeting to seek your valuable ideas and insights concerning expanded opportunities and safe places for social gatherings of teenagers aged 11-18. We believe that out-of-school programming plays a vital role in our teenagers’ personal growth, skill development, and social interaction. As community leaders, parents, and members, your perspectives are invaluable in charting a path towards a vibrant and nurturing environment for our youth.

Who We Want to Hear From: We extend a warm welcome to parents, representatives from athletic organizations, fine arts and performing centers, area community institutions, and places of faith to join us and share your creative ideas. Together, we can explore innovative ways to enhance existing offerings and develop new programs to meet the needs and interests of our diverse youth population.

How to Participate: Bring your innovative ideas and suggestions for enriching out-of-school programs for teenagers or if your organization can contribute to providing safe social spaces for our youth, we encourage you to participate in this meeting.
