Lexie Bergeron announces candidacy for Town Meeting Member for Precinct 4

Dear Precinct 4 Neighbors,

I am excited to announce my candidacy for re-election as a Town Meeting Member for Precinct 4 in the April 30, 2024 election. As a dedicated member of our community, I am eager to continue to contribute to the ongoing growth and development of Milton while also preserving it history and traditions.

My husband I and moved to Milton 16 years ago and have truly enjoyed getting to know our town and immediate neighborhood. From watching myriad sporting events at Kelley Field to enjoying so many of the wonderful opportunities Milton has to offer: the Neponset bike path, Pine Tree Brook, our fantastic library, sports, and music opportunities, and the Blue Hills. We are grateful to be raising our two daughters (ages 15 and 12) here and consider Milton our home.

• Town Meeting (elected 3 years ago)
• Pierce (current parent, member of Pierce Site Council)
• MHS (current parent, member of FAME for Milton High Schools award winning Marching Band)
• Activities my family has participated in (town soccer and softball, Pierce Players, Marching Band to name a few)
• Boston Medical Center (where I use my MPH and MSW as the Director of Operations for their Office Based Addiction Treatment Program)

During my first term as Town Meeting Member, I have had the privilege of witnessing the strength and resilience of our community. I am an avid supporter of Milton Public Schools and the teachers and staff who are enormously dedicated to the students who attend. I am also a firm supporter of increasing our commercial tax base through thoughtful development which would in turn increase needed amenities for our community.

It is this spirit that motivates me to seek re-election and offer my skills and dedication to the continued service of our town. I believe that by working together, we can create a town that thrives socially, economically, and environmentally. I hope I can count on your vote on April 30^th.
