The East Milton Neighborhood Association’s candidate forum is tonight at 7:30 p.m. You can view the format and schedule here: emna02186.files.
The EMNA Executive Board’s goal is to conduct a fair, unbiased forum to help educate residents about the candidates up for election. EMNA does not endorse candidates. The eight-member EMNA Executive Board designed the candidate forum to be politically neutral and with a goal to do our best to remove potential bias – both real and perceived. We did that successfully last year and believe the same is true for this year’s forum The moderator and time-keepers were chosen, in-part, because they have not publicly advocated for any candidate in a contested race. Members of the Board who are in contested races do not have roles in forum.
We hope that you will attend tonight’s candidates forum and we hope that the information and opportunities it provides will be of value to you and your decisions of how to vote on April 26, 2016.
