Live Poetry reading with local poets Dick Lourie & Mark Pawlak – June 3 at the Milton Public Library
Two talented local poets will read from their works on Tuesday, June 3, starting at 6:30 p.m., in our Keys Room. This will be an in person Poetry Reading with authors Dick Lourie and Mark Pawlak. Mr. Lourie has written several poetry collections, and his most recent book (2021) is Jam Session and Other Poems. He is a founding coeditor (1966) of Hanging Loose Press of NYC and also a talented musician. Mr. Pawlak joined Brooklyn-based Hanging Loose Press as an editor in 1980, and is currently the press’s managing editor.
His poems and prose have appeared widely in literary magazines and anthologies, and have been translated into German, Japanese, Spanish, and Polish. Both speakers live in the Boston area.
