Milton library hosts virtual talk on infamous Leopold and Loeb Trial on July 1
During the month of July, the Milton Public Library is hosting some fun and educational events for adults and families. The retired Judge Dennis J. Curran will return via Zoom for a virtual talk to continue his “Great Trials” series. This one will be offered on Tuesday night, July 1st, at 7:00 p.m. and it is all about “The Trial of Leopold and Loeb: Inside the Criminal Mind.” This sensational case arose out of the murder of a 14-year-old boy, Bobby Franks, in a tony suburb of Chicago.
The nation’s attention was riveted by the tragedy, as they asked why two sons of privileged and wealthy families committed this utterly heinous and completely unnecessary murder! To join us online, please register using this link in order to receive the Zoom code to attend beforehand: https://miltonlibrary.libcal.com/event/14639188
