Julia Maxwell announces candidacy for Milton Town Meeting Member, Precinct 1

Hello! My name is Julia Maxwell and I’m on the ballot on April 30th to be a Town Meeting Member in Precinct 1. I live at 41 Lothrop Ave with my husband and two sons. Both of our boys will be attending Tucker Elementary School. We have really loved becoming part of this small, welcoming, tight-knit community.

My background is in global public health and includes service in the Peace Corps in Guinea, West Africa, as well as time spent opening primary health care clinics in Haiti. I currently manage an infectious disease outbreak detection program.

Locally, I serve on the Town’s Warrant Committee and advocate for initiatives such as supporting a new school and more housing through a compliant MBTA Communities Act Article. My involvement grants me insight into town affairs and finances, ensuring I’m well-equipped to represent Precinct 1’s interests.

I’m committed to representing our precinct and ensuring Milton remains a desirable place to live – for everyone – particularly by supporting our excellent public schools. I ask for your vote on April 30th and welcome any questions or discussions at [email protected].

Thank you for your support!
