This is to notify you that the Norfolk County Mosquito Control District and its contracted helicopter company, North Fork Helicopter’s Ltd., will be conducting aerial larvicide applications in the towns located in Norfolk County, possibly beginning Wednesday, April 20 through Friday, April 29, 2022, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. daily (weather/wind permitting).  Approximately 2,900 acres to be treated in the county.

The targets for this application are wetlands in Norfolk County that have been determined to breed mosquitoes.

The following is a list of the numbers of the helicopters and a brief description of them to help you confirm their presence if residents call.

MD 500 – N50QD – Black

Thank you for your cooperation. Please pass this notice on to all shifts.
