Marilyn Masterson will display her wall hangings and other hand-sewn pieces for Milton Neighbors to enjoy

During April 2016, Milton resident and quilter Marilyn Masterson will display her wall hangings and other hand-sewn pieces in the library’s Wotiz Gallery.

Masterson learned to sew as a child and many of her quilt pieces have been featured in exhibits and shows around New England, most recently in the Cohasset Church show. She also creates custom and special orders between designing her own pieces, and this collection will showcase watercolor pieces, machine-stitched pictures, and necktie wall hangings.

Come meet the artist at a free and open reception on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Wotiz Gallery at the Milton Public Library. For more information about displaying your art at the library, contact Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, at 617-698-5757, extension 3.
