We have very exciting news to report regarding our fall sports at Milton High School.

Our Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams will be sending their top 7 runners to compete in the D4 East Championships at the Wrentham Development Center this Saturday, November 11th. The Girls Team is sending Grace Sullivan, Emme Schewe, Cloadgh Corcoran, Bridget Mitchell, Elise O’Leary, Ella Affanato and Geneveive Connelly. The Boys Team will be represented by Bobby Carew, Isaac Piliavin, Shane Berry, Lucas Kery, Stephen Affanato, Fritz Lalley, and Hudson Smith.

Our Cheer Team will be competing in Regionals on Sunday, November 12th. They qualified with an excellent performance last Wednesday at the Bay State Conference Championships in Braintree.

Our Girls Soccer Team battled hard against Medway Monday night, falling 5-1. This was after a great win over Duxbury over the weekend that went to penalty kicks after two scoreless overtime periods.

Our Volleyball Team advanced to the D2 South Sectional Semi-Final on Wednesday, November 8th, where they will play Norwood. They beat both Pembroke and Falmouth 3-0 in the first and second rounds. The game will be home, at Milton High School in the Copeland Field House at 7:00pm. Tickets will be sold for $5/students and $7/students. We encourage fans to carpool and to arrive early, as parking will be limited.

Our Football Team will play Hopkinton on Friday, November 10th at 7:00pm at Hopkinton High School for the D4 South Sectional Final. They beat North Quincy and Silver Lake in the quarterfinals and semi-finals. Tickets will be sold for $7/students and $10/adults. We encourage spectators to carpool and to arrive at the game early to ensure you enter the game on time. We will be offering a fan bus for the game. Students must sign up during school hours or directly after-school in the Athletics Director’s office. There will be a sign-up sheet in the office all day Wednesday and Thursday. It is first come first serve. Students must also take a permission slip, and return it signed by a parent/guardian by 11:00am on Friday in order to ride the bus. The bus will leave Milton High School at 5:15pm to Hopkinton and will likely return between 9:30pm and 10:30pm to the High School. Students who go to the game on the fan bus MUST return on the fan bus.
