Interfaith Social Services to hold annual gala

Interfaith Social Services’ annual gala features chef stations, games, auctions, live entertainment

Kick off the holiday season with a festive party while helping South Shore residents in need with the essential services necessary to lead healthy lives. Interfaith Social Services’ annual Feed the Hungry Gala, December 6 at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy, is a “Party with a Purpose,” featuring local chef stations, beverages, live entertainment and games, all while raising critical funds for the organization’s programs.

Interfaith operates one of the largest emergency food programs in Greater Boston as well as a mental health counseling center, homelessness prevention program and seasonal initiatives that bring joy to children and families in need. Interfaith’s programs are a safety net for thousands of people on the South Shore who are struggling to make ends meet. Proceeds from their Feed the Hungry Gala provide for a third of Interfaith Social Services’ annual funding.

Now in its 22nd year, the gala features a chef dine around where attendees sample food and beverages from some of the region’s top restaurants and purveyors. Participating restaurants include Alma Nove, Fratelli’s Pastry Shop, Granite Links Golf Club, JP Fuji Group, Montilio’s Baking Company, Sadie Mae’s Cupcake Cafe & Bakery, The Corner Stop Eatery, The Quarry Restaurant & Lounge, The Range, The Townshend and Victory Point Marina Bay. Beverages will be provided from Bent Water Brewing, Bin Ends, Coffee Break Café, Mayflower Brewing, Spiritfruit and Stellwagen Beer Company.

Attendees can participate in games and raffles as well as both live and silent auctions. This year’s auction packages include a 4-night Disney vacation, a stay at an Irish castle resort, premium Celtics tickets and much more.

The event is sponsored by many generous individuals and businesses, including Presenting Level Sponsor Arbella Insurance Foundation and Hero Level Sponsors Quincy Mutual Group, Rural Masonic Lodge of Quincy, Signet Electronic Systems, Inc., MavroCreative and A Healthy Balance. Sponsorships and tickets are available at FeedtheHungryGala.org. Act fast, as the gala sells out every year.
