We are excited to introduce the Cradles to Crayons 2023 Boston Marathon team of runners! Among them is Milton resident with a long-term commitment to the work Cradles to Cradles is doing on behalf of Massachusetts children experiencing clothing insecurity.

Alfie Rudnick has always been an enthusiastic runner, and with deep family connections to Cradles to Crayons, he says joining Team Cradles to Crayons was a “no-brainer.” Alfie and his family have volunteered at Cradles to Crayons for over 15 years! “I even hosted my Bar Mitzvah celebration at the Giving Factory where my guests and I volunteered for a shift,” he shared.

Eight runners will represent Team Cradles to Crayons in the 26.2 mile race on Monday, April 17.

Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive—at home, at school, and at play. They supply clothing, shoes, diapers, school supplies, and more, free of charge. Cradles to Crayons collects new and high-quality used children’s clothing and engages thousands of youths and adults in volunteer activities each year on behalf of local children in need.

We would love to help you tell Mallory’s inspiring story with interviews and video. Is this something we can work on together?
