Brookwood Community Farm offers 2024 CSA shares
It’s time to get your 2024 CSA shares!
We are pleased to announce you can now sign up for the 2024 CSA! Based on feedback and our operational capacity we have made some changes to our pick-up policy. Starting this year, you are now able to have 3 pickup switch requests per annum.
At our farm, we aim to provide the freshest and highest quality produce for our customers. To guarantee the right quantity and quality of our products in the CSA while allowing for some flexibility for the needs of our members, we have implemented this new policy. We understand that our customers have busy schedules, and may not be able to pick up their orders on the designated day. With this new change, we hope to accommodate more of our customers’ needs and provide a better overall experience. As always, we appreciate your feedback and look forward to serving you in the upcoming season. Thank you for choosing our farm for your produce needs!
A reminder about our model
- Browse the website and choose your share type(s): veggie, egg, flower, fruit.
- Decide between a full share (pick-up every week) and half share (pick-up every other week). Share sizes remain the same.
- If you are choosing a half-share, decide on a even or odd week pick-up. The odd week is the first week of the share, and continues on alternating with even weeks (second week of share). Please refer to our calendar all 2024 dates are present there.
- Choose a pick-up day of the week that works for you! We ask that you come to pick up your share on the day you selected. Please see our modified policy for 2024 at the bottom of this email and on our website on the “Our CSA” page.
Veggie Share
Enjoy the best that Brookwood has to offer with our vegetable shares! We have three season, spring, summer, and fall options available. Weekly share is a range of 7-15 options listed on the board with 7-10 vegetables to pick out from our CSA tent pre-bundled or by weight. A share size typically feeds four moderate veggie eaters or two dedicated veggie eaters.
Egg Share
Enjoy fresh and local eggs supplied by Lilac Hedge Farm! These pasture-raised hens lay the most delicious eggs. A share is a dozen per week (or every other week for half-shares).
Fruit Share
The fruit share starts in late June and runs through the end of the season. Enjoy strawberries, blueberries, plums, and more in the summer. Enjoy raspberries, cranberries, apples, and pears in the fall!
Flower Share
Get out in the field and enjoy colorful, fragrant bouquets! Get 10-20 stems per bouquet including sunflowers, snapdragons, zinnias, celosia, strawflowers, marigolds, and more!
- You must request a pick-up day change 1 week in advance with the deadline of 5:00 p.m. on Friday the week before your pick-up week. You may only switch days within your pick-up week, you may not switch pick-up weeks. To request a day change: email csa@

brookwoodcommunityfarm.org Please include your full name, assigned pick-up day, and requested pick-up day. - There is no grace period for the wrong pick-up day, please come on the day you signed up for, send a friend to pick up your share, or make a day switch request the week prior.
- Our most operationally challenging share is the veggie share, so this is the MOST important that you come on your assigned day. If you are buying veggies, fruit, and eggs please note that your pick-up day is based on your veggie share. If you are checking out and don’t see the fruit or egg shares available on the same pick-up day as your veggie share, please proceed to check out with all of your items and then email csa@
brookwoodcommunityfarm.org to request changing your egg and fruit shares to align with your veggie share. - Egg shares: If you miss your pick-up one week, your eggs will be held for up to 3 additional weeks, just let the CSA attendant know you would like to pick up a missed share.
- The name you sign up for on the website is the name that appears on the pick-up list. If you have an alternate name you would like to use please add that to additional comments. Please do not include a middle initial in the checkout process.
- Did you know that 3-season veggie and egg shares as well as 2-season fruit shares get a 5% discount?
