Courageous Conversations to show racism documentary

Courageous Conversations meeting to be held on December 11th

Date: Tuesday, December 11th from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Location: St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 112 Randolph Ave, Milton, MA 02186

Join Courageous Conversations in a film screening of a Tim Wise documentary on racism, followed by small group discussions. This documentary will show how white privilege continues to shape individual attitudes, electoral politics, and government policy.

In addition, Wise offers a fascinating look back at the race-based white entitlement programs that built the American middle class, and argues that our failure as a society to come to terms with this legacy of white privilege continues to perpetuate racial inequality and race-driven political resentments today.
