Courageous Conversations Toward Racial Justice to host Change the Race Dance

Move through and around understandings and misunderstandings of racism with music

Join Courageous Conversations Toward Racial Justice on Saturday, October 13th from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at First Parish in Milton for a Change the Race Dance. Hopeful and heart-filled, Soyinka’s leadership magnificently uplifts anyone struggling to heal and move through and around our understandings and misunderstandings about racism.

WCC King and Lisa Ward, part of the interplay team, will introduce the vital and uplifting tools of interplay to encourage discovery and affirmation of the experience of our lives.

We will explore together through the lens of music, movement and the sharing of our stories as they arise in playful and affirmative interaction.

All are welcome. Any age. Any ability. Wear comfortable clothes. Soup and bread will be offered at lunch. Feel free to bring your own lunch and/or a snack to share. A basket will be available for a freewill offering of any amount.

“Breathe in! Breathe out with a sound!”
