Ice Cream Social at Congregation Beth Shalom to take place August 29

Congregation Beth Shalom of the Blue Hills is having an Open House and Ice Cream Social on Monday Evening, August 29, 2022 from 6:15 – 7:30 p.m.

Jewish & Interfaith families are warmly invited to meet Cantor Lisa Kipen-Hershenson, Director of the Rabbi Jerome Weistrop Religious School, Rabbi Alfred Benjamin, our religious school teachers, families and members of our congregation.

Prospective new members who attend will receive complimentary attendance at all Children/Youth/ Family Services.  Only complimentary tickets for either Rosh HaShanah or Yom Kippur will be offered for attendance at Congregational Services.

While here, tour our beautiful, solar powered building, learn about our many programs and engaging Services, including High Holidays, and get information about our Religious School & Synagogue Membership.  Stay to play games, win prizes, schmooze, and enjoy Kosher ice cream!

Our Religious School meets on Sunday mornings (K-Pre-B’nei Mitzvah) and on Tuesday afternoons (3rd-Pre-B’nei Mitzvah).  We are currently accepting registration, due August 29th. E-mail [email protected] to receive online registration link and ask any questions.

Join us for a year of innovative, experiential, active, & inclusive learning with Musical Shabbat and Holiday celebrations, fun family-education activities, specialized programming for young children aged 3-5, individualized B’nei Mitzvah training, and “Tikkun Olam Teens” – our social action youth group.
