Discover the World of American Black Bears: virtual talk with Bob Michelson on Jan. 9

On Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 7:00 p.m., there will be a virtual talk via Zoom called “The Life of the American Black Bear.”

The speaker will be photographer Bob Michelson, as he follows biologists who study the American Black Bear in the wild, by visiting a bear den after cubs are born in early March in Northern NH.

Black bears are now expanding south and east throughout their range, which means they are denning as far east as Worcester County and Merrimack Valley in Massachusetts.
